Jeremy Duo
Headmaster, Theology & Latin

Mr. Duo was born and raised in Gibraltar, UK. He obtained his undergraduate and master’s degrees in theology, philosophy and catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Post graduation, Mr. Duo moved back home to Gibraltar with his family to co-found the Saxum Institute to teach theology, philosophy, and the wider liberal arts to the locals. In October 2022, he and his family moved back to the United States and reside in the Fort Worth area. He now brings his expertise and passion for Catholic education to Fort Worth to guide the Chesterton Academy of Fort Worth at the helm. Jeremy and his family are parishioners at St. Benedict Church.

Steven Barmore
Executive Director, Philosophy & Literature

Mr. Barmore is from Houston, but has called Fort Worth home since 2015.  He has degrees in Philosophy from Sam Houston State University and Holy Apostles College and Seminary, and multiple publications. He has eight years of teaching experience in both Catholic and public high schools. A convert from atheism, he was received into the Catholic Church in 2010.  He and his wife, Linky, have three daughters, Rosemary (10), Dorothy (7), and Lucy (2). The Barmores are parishioners at St. Benedict Catholic Church.

Arash Noori
Director of Choirs

Mr. Noori was born and raised in Iran. At the age of twelve, his family relocated to Canada. He became an accomplished lutenist and studied music at the University of Toronto, then at Yale, and finally at Juilliard becoming a medieval music specialist. After receiving Baptism and entering the Catholic Church in New York City while at Juilliard, Mr. Noori commenced a deep and never-ending study of Gregorian chant with the Benedictine monks of Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey in Oklahoma. He attends St. Benedict Catholic Church in Fort Worth.

Eric Schueler
History & Art

A native of Fort Worth, Mr. Schueler earned his B.A. in Spanish Language & Literature from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was also a scholar at the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Study of Core Ideas and Texts. Mr. Schueler has experience teaching catechism to middle and high schooler, and taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade social studies in the Diocese of Fort Worth. A self-taught painter, Mr. Schueler also studies classical drawing at the Texas Academy of Figurative Art. You can find Mr. Schueler at a museum, reading Flannery O’conn0r, or playing the drums in his free time. He will be teaching 9th grade History and Art for the Chesterton Academy of Fort Worth’s inaugural year. Mr. Schueler is a parishioner at St. Patrick Cathedral.

Jack Thrippleton
Math & Science

Mr. Thrippleton is a graduate of Wyoming Catholic College, and taught at Great Hearts schools before joining the Chesterton Academy. He particularly enjoys Geometry, Probability, Fantasy, and answering the question, “Why?”
